This skrpt is deprecated.

It remains installable and its dependencies still resolve, but it is no longer recommended for new projects. Use GitHub MCP instead.

v1.0.1 latest 14 July 2026

GH#833 — align source `manifest.id` to the catalogue-registered id `a371fae7…` (K-037 Option A: catalogue is authoritative; the old source id was referenced nowhere but this manifest). GH#833 — retire the embedded stub `github-mcp` service node (it was a divergent 31-line stub). This bundle now **dep-references** the canonical `_shared/github-mcp@1.0.0` — one source of truth. Description updated to match.

v1.0.0 31 May 2026

Initial catalogue release as `github-mcp-reference` — renamed from the legacy `github-mcp-service` skrpt (last published as v1.1.12). The rename frees the `github-mcp` namespace for the future `hub-shared/github-mcp` catalogue entry tracked on skrptiq-issues#626 (MCP per-consumer overlay model). Same canonical GitHub MCP service descriptor content as `github-mcp-service` v1.1.12. Users of the legacy skrpt remain on the previous version trail; new installs should reference `github-mcp-reference` going forward. Naming convention for future sibling MCP wrappers: `<service>-mcp-reference` (e.g. `gmail-mcp-reference`, `google-calendar-mcp-reference`) — to be defined when GH#626 introduces the per-consumer overlay model.
